

Raising a child with hearing loss means parents and caregivers need to plan and prepare for things they may not understand. That's why HLAA is launching Hear Together, a support group to provide a safe, welcoming space where participants can:
This is a wonderful opportunity for the HLAA community to come together, support one another and learn from each other. Attendance is free! Just sign up through their registration page and join them on Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET.
Meetings will be led by speech-language pathologist Kristin Bergholtz, audiologist Carly Alicea and HLAA Chapter Engagement Manager Melissa Kruse.

U.S. District Judge Amir Ali has ruled that the White House must immediately reinstate qualified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters at all press briefings by Trump Administration, which came after the NAD and their legal partners Arnold & Porter filed a lawsuit earlier this year.
The White House has created a YouTube Channel called "ASL White House" that provides a picture-in-picture of an ASL interpreter in Trump Administration’s press briefings.


The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) Convention 2026 will be in LOUISVILLE!
